Bulgarian Register of Shipping (BRS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and professional integrity in all its activities.
BRS has established a structured and impartial process for handling complaints and appeals submitted by clients, stakeholders, and other interested parties. All submissions are treated with strict confidentiality and are assessed objectively, independently, and without undue delay.
Complaints may be submitted regarding the performance of BRS services, conduct of personnel, or any matter related to our activities. Each complaint is formally recorded, reviewed, and investigated by designated personnel who are independent from the subject of the complaint.
BRS ensures that:
All complaints are acknowledged promptly
Investigations are conducted in a fair and unbiased manner
Appropriate corrective actions are implemented where necessary
The complainant is informed of the outcome
Clients have the right to appeal against decisions made by BRS, including certification outcomes, survey findings, or other technical determinations.
Appeals are:
Handled by personnel not involved in the original decision
Subject to an independent and thorough review
Resolved within a reasonable timeframe
Communicated clearly to the appellant
