Bulgarian Register of Shipping (BRS) provides Type Approval certification for products intended for serial production and installation on board ships and offshore units.
Type Approval is a conformity assessment process through which a representative prototype of a product is examined, tested, and verified against the applicable BRS Rules, international conventions, and recognized standards.
Upon successful completion of the evaluation, BRS issues a Type Approval Certificate, confirming that the product is approved for serial production and that each unit manufactured in accordance with the approved design meets the required safety and performance criteria.
