Bulgarian Register of Shipping (BRS) performs statutory certification on behalf of flag administrations, ensuring that vessels comply with all applicable international conventions and national requirements.
Acting under formal authorizations, BRS conducts surveys, audits, and certification in accordance with the provisions of key IMO instruments, including but not limited to:
Initial, annual, intermediate, and renewal surveys
Issuance and endorsement of statutory certificates
ISM and ISPS audits
MLC inspections and certification
Verification of compliance with flag-specific requirements
BRS ensures that all activities are carried out by qualified surveyors in line with internationally recognized standards and the specific instructions of each flag administration.
