Bulgarian Register of Shipping (BRS) acts as a trusted Recognized Organization, authorized by various Flag Administrations to perform statutory functions on their behalf.
Within this mandate, BRS supports Flag States in the implementation and enforcement of international maritime regulations, ensuring that ships flying their flag comply with the applicable conventions of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
Our role extends beyond certification — we act as an extension of the Flag Administration, safeguarding compliance, enhancing safety standards, and protecting the credibility of the flag.
Through a structured and transparent approach, BRS ensures that all delegated responsibilities are executed with professionalism, consistency, and full accountability to the authorizing Administration.
