Bulgarian Register of Shipping (BRS) grants approval to companies authorized to carry out inspection, testing, certification, and maintenance of marine equipment on its behalf.
These approvals are issued to specialized service providers and manufacturers demonstrating the necessary technical competence, qualified personnel, equipment, and quality management systems to perform activities in accordance with BRS requirements and applicable international regulations.

Upon successful assessment, BRS issues a Company Approval Certificate, defining the scope of authorized activities. Approved companies are subject to periodic audits and continuous monitoring to ensure ongoing compliance and performance.
