Statutory Services

BRS has an extensive experience in of cooperation with foreign Maritime Administrations covering the field of statutory surveys of ships in accordance with the International Conventions in force. BRS performs statutory surveys and certification of ships for compliance with the international conventions on safety at sea and prevention of marine pollution. This process includes the development and implementation of safety requirements for hull, machinery and electrical and control installations of ships falling under the scope of the international conventions.

Bulgarian Register of Shipping(BRS) services are in compliance with The Code for Recognised Organisation (RO Code).

For the purposes of supervision of ships in operation, BRS performs the following Statutory Surveys:

a/ MARPOL surveys

b/ Load Line Survey

c/ Safety Equipment Survey

d/ Safety Construction Survey

e/ Safety Radio Survey

f/ Survey of Life-Saving Appliances

g/ Survey for the Carriage of Grains

h/ Survey for the Carriage of Dangerous Goods

k/ Survey of Cargo Appliances

l/ ISM, ISPS, MLC audits.
