Inland Vessels

SHIPS ON INLAND WATERWAYS

Pursuant to Order №3-266 / 06.12.2016, the Executive Agency “Maritime Administration” authorizes BRS to inspect ships sailing on inland waterways for compliance with the requirements of Ordinance №22 of 2008 on the technical requirements for ships sailing inland waterways and to issue certificates of technical fitness for the following equipment:

• Pressure vessels;
• Ship cranes;
• Ship household installations operating with liquefied gas;
• Fixed fire extinguishing systems for protection of machines, boiler rooms and pump rooms;
• Ship steering systems;
• Hulls (construction and residual thickness of claddings (hull steel structures, etc.), according to item 5 of the appendix to art. 3, sec. 2 of Ordinance №95А).
